What this is
Full-length IGF-1Ec contains the IGF-I core and an Ec-derived extension. Catalogs also use “MGF” for a short E-domain peptide and for PEGylated analogs, but those are different analytes.
Evidence position
Direct laboratory studies support Grade C. One analytical paper found that a marketed full-length material differed from the expected sequence, illustrating why a name alone is not enough.
What the record does not establish
Evidence for full-length IGF-1Ec cannot be transferred to the isolated E-domain peptide, PEG-MGF or IGF-1 LR3. Every supplied material needs its own sequence and lot-linked analytical record.
