Orexin A
Also known as: Hypocretin-1 ยท Orexin-A
Grade describes the published research on the molecule. It is not a quality score, a safety score, or a release state.
What this is
Orexin A is one of two endogenous orexin neuropeptides. It is distinct from orexin B, receptor antagonists and small-molecule receptor agonists that dominate parts of the clinical literature.
Evidence position
A small direct human administration study supports Grade B, with a narrow evidence boundary.
What the record does not establish
Research on orexin receptors or non-peptide drugs cannot be used as direct evidence for an Orexin A sample. Published work does not authenticate a commercial vial.
