Thymalin
Also known as: Thymic polypeptide complex
Grade describes the published research on the molecule. It is not a quality score, a safety score, or a release state.
What this is
Thymalin is reported as a polypeptide complex isolated from thymus tissue. It is not interchangeable with thymulin, thymopentin, thymosin alpha-1, or a single short peptide sometimes marketed under a similar name.
Evidence position
Human and laboratory reports exist, but Grade U reflects the unresolved identity problem: an extract name does not ensure consistent composition across eras, manufacturers or extraction methods.
What the record does not establish
A study using one historical Thymalin preparation does not validate the composition, purity, microbiological quality or biological equivalence of another preparation.

LIVE DATABASE INDEX / SEPARATE FROM CURATED EVIDENCE
Records below come directly from public scientific databases. They help find relevant material, but do not affect the evidence grade until they are matched to the molecule and added to the curated source list.
